Albert Clark Tate, Jr., Professor of Law at the University of Virginia’s School of Law. Her research focuses on the intersection of immigration law and family law, the history of immigration law in the United States, and the marriage equality movement. Publications include “Citizen Spouse” (101 California Law Review, 407, 2013) and "Immigration Law and the Regulation of Marriage” (91 Minnesota Law Review 1625, 2007). She will be our key collaborator in the United States, and will help us assess and compare migration policies pertaining to same-sex marriage and partnership.
